After Thanksgiving weekend with my family I'm really tired of giving thanks. So now I must take the time to complain about everything sports-related I can think of.

Why does the letter 'C' still appear in the BCS? And how many screw-ups will there need to be to finally see a playoff system? I don't even care much about college football and this still bothers me. Correcting this needs to be Barack Obama's first order of business.

Why do fans care so much about the Heisman Trophy? It's lame. Every year it goes to a quarterback, and every time that quarterback makes it to the NFL (see Chris Weinke, Eric Crouch, Troy Smith, Jason White, Danny Wuerfell, Gino Torretta, Andre Ware, etc.) they play like they belong in Pop Warner league. If I were Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy or Graham Harrell I would begin a smear campaign against my own candidacy and refuse the reward if I won. It's a kiss of death.

Why did Plaxico Burress shoot himself in the leg and not Stephon Marbury?

Speaking of 'Starbury,' check out what he said to The New York Post in Monday's paper:

"When things got bad and then worse, guys like Quentin Richardson say, 'I don't consider him a teammate. He let his teammates out to dry.' He didn't care I was his teammate when I was banished. They left me out for dead. It's like we're in a foxhole and I'm facing the other way. If I got shot in the head, at least you want to get shot by the enemy. I got shot in the head by my own guys in my foxhole. And they didn't even give me an honorable death."

Can we get this guy a muzzle? I'm so sick of prima donna athletes.

I love it when athletes speak their minds, but Charles Barkley had it right: Can LeBron James please shut his mouth and play for Cleveland until his contract runs out - and then ditch the Cavaliers for a higher-profile team? And while we're at it, can Amare Stoudemire stop complaining? Is 22 points, eight rebounds, an 11-7 record and 38 minutes per game not enough for you? Stop crying about Shaquille O'Neal playing a prominent role on the team you play on. How many championships has he won? How many have you won? Right, OK.

Why does the Chris Paul vs. Deron Williams argument still pop up? Are we serious? Paul leads the NBA in assists and steals, and he averages 2.5 more rebounds per game and 10.5 more points per game. Oh, and he has less turnovers per game and a better free-throw percentage. Got an argument for Deron over Chris? I'd like to hear one.

Why is Matt Ryan so good? And how in the world is Roddy White leading the NFL in receiving yards?

Why aren't more people lauding the Detroit Lions for being THIS bad. Playing that terrible consistently every week is no small accomplishment.

Why will Plaxico Burress not see one second of jail time after being charged with two felony counts of felony possession of a weapon in the second degree? He SHOT HIMSELF in the leg at a club - it's not like there's a lack of evidence. Why do the privileged get the special treatment with the law?

Speaking of which, why hasn't O.J. Simpson found the real killer yet?

Why is the 3-point line and shot clock different between men's and women's college basketball? Not only that, but why do they have like five hours to shoot the ball? Do they really need that long? And do they really need to play with different sized basketballs?

Why is CC Sabathia taking so long to accept the $140 million offer from the New York Yankees? If he doesn't want it, I'll take it.

Now THAT would be something to be thankful for.
