Although I may be one of the least experienced writers on the sports staff, one of the few non-journalism majors, and the fact that I've had to follow a sport this spring which had nearly no interest to me, I wouldn't have traded this experience for anything.
On my time at the paper I have learned a lot of valuable information about writing, style, grammar and how to interview people. I have met a lot of interesting people, and hopefully the hard work I put in this year will lead me to great things.
As always Go Sox, Green 17, and the Pats will correct that little mistake and should go 38-0 over the next two seasons.
Hopefully when we get back in the fall, I will be writing for a more interesting topic, the Sox will have a 20 game lead in the division, the Celtics will have swept the Lakers in the Finals and the American Dollar will have climbed back to be worth more than the Canadian Dollar.
And that's the bottom line…Because Sam Grossack said so.
