University of Massachusetts 1990 graduate of the Isenberg School of Management and Newton, Mass., resident, Eric Friedberg, has launched the first, live game show over the Web.

The website, ItsEasyToWin.com, is a free online live game show that allows consumers to interact with the game's host and to participate in games, sweepstakes and promotions, paving the way for a new generation of live online game shows.

The Web site went live on Oct. 11, 2008 and has signed more than 5,000 members. The innovative site includes popular, instant win games, most notably "Texas Hold 'Em" and "Scratch and Win."

"Consumers tune in and can immediately win," he said.

In order to play, consumers must log in and register. Registration is free. Once users log in, they are randomly selected to go into a one-on-one chat with the host.

Five different games are available on the site.

"Pick Until You Win" is a weekly, live game show a the cash prize of

up to $1,000.

"Treasure of the Seven Seas" is a scratch-and-win instant game with the chance in which participants can win up to $50,000, a trip to Aruba and other prizes, and ItsEasyToWin.com is giving away a trip every month.

"Texas Hold 'Em" is a poker game with potentially winnings of $777, and "Dollar Bill Madness" is a game involving the consumer's own dollar bills. The $50,000 bill is the only winner in this game and can be found by looking at your bill's serial number. This game offers over $250,000 in cash prizes.

The fifth and final game is "What's In Your Naughty Drawer."

Aside from the games, the site includes a joke section called, "Laugh Today," which includes jokes and photos.

"This is a true evolution of the Internet and where game

shows are going," Friedberg said.

With the invention of ItsEasyToWin.com, consumers are now given the opportunity to participate in live game shows rather than just watch them. The Friedberg said he plans to continue growing and continuing the site.

Future plans include implementing a social network platform and camera-to-web capabilities for complete audience participation.

Friedberg is also a partner at Cohen-Friedberg Associates, a Boston-based sales promotion agency.
