According to the UMass Athletics Web site, the policy entails eight rules and regulations including limitations on the tailgating duration periods and what is acceptable and unacceptable at a University event.

By Derrick Perkins Collegian Staff A cheap and efficient way of making ceramic films has earned a patent for a team of chemists at the University of Massachusetts. Professor Patricia Bianconi and her team of two graduate students, Michael Pitcher and Scott Joray, developed a process that results in defect-free ceramic films, the smoothest and most continuous ever reported from polymer precursors.
