The race will be the team's final preparations before it goes for its 13th straight A-10 Championship a week later.
The Massachusetts men's and women's track and field teams will unveil their new facility on Saturday as they host the 2008 UMass Invitational. The facility was supposed to be opened at a 5-way meet to kick off the outdoor season two weeks ago, but had to be cancelled due to heavy wind and rain.
