RSU fights for poster rights, ACLU speaks

The day before a judicial hearing determining the future status of the Radical Student Union, the organization held a rally for free speech on the steps of the Student Union. Standing in front of a banner reading "Whose University? Our University," members of the registered student organization lambasted the University of Massachusetts administration for what it considers suppression of free speech on campus.

Chancellor finalists visit with UMass students, administrators

Campus visits began earlier this week for the four finalists seeking the University of Massachusetts chancellor position. Each candidate will spend a day touring the campus and meeting with staff, faculty, students, alumni, the UMass administration and leaders of the Amherst community.

Campus caters kosher for Passover

For some Jewish students at the University of Massachusetts, keeping kosher is easier with the kosher food option offered at Franklin Dining Commons. According to freshman Hannah Grossman, the kosher meal plan has not only allowed her to maintain her kosher diet, but meet other Jewish students keep kosher.
